Course Description

PHIL 301: Medieval Philosophy

3 credits
 

This course studies medieval texts in English translation selected as representatives of the broad range of issues, approaches, and theories which characterize the major Christian, Jewish, and Islamic philosophical thinking of the period. This course is usually taught every year in the spring semester.

 
Prerequisites: At least one 100-level or 200-level course in philosophy
