Our Technology Centers

Guidelines for Rockwell Hall Technology Centers

The following rules and regulations should be adhered to for any lab patron entering the labs. Individuals who do not follow the regulations will be asked to leave.

  • Swipe your DU ID card upon entry to the lab. YOU MUST HAVE ID TO ENTER THE LAB. If you do not have your ID, the lab aide will take any other form of ID (e.g. state-issued driver's license) in order to record your name for security purposes. Please swipe every time you enter, on your way into class or if you are entering the lab during open hours.

  • To protect our resource, food and drinks, including covered or capped beverages, are not permitted (this applies to all lab patrons). Please leave refreshments at the front desk with the lab aide or on one of the shelves in the lobby.

  • Make sure cell phones are off or on vibrate. If you receive a phone call, please take the call outside of the lab.

  • If working on a group project, please be cognizant and courteous of others working in the lab and speak among yourselves quietly. If you are disturbing other lab patrons, they may have the lab aide ask you to quiet down or leave the lab.

Each lab has machines that are equipped with the following:

  • Floppy drive
  • CD-ROM (read-only drive; does not have burning capabilities)
