CONCENTRATION IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT A. J. PALUMBO SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATIONThe Supply Chain Management concentration prepares students to assume roles as supply chain professionals in both profit and not-for-profit organizations. The focus will be on providing students with the necessary theoretical, analytical, and practical skills required to manage the flow of materials and products from original source to the final consumer. The program emphasizes the successful application of SCM techniques and concepts through collaboration and integration both within and between organizations. Duquesne University's School of Business is accredited by the AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business—the highest accreditation that American schools of business can attain. Of the more than 1,200 collegiate schools of business in the United States, less than one-third has earned accreditation through the AACSB International. A total of 122 credits is required to satisfy degree requirements.
This literature is designed to provide prospective students a general overview of academic coursework necessary to fulfill degree requirements. Admitted students are advised to consult Duquesne University's Undergraduate catalog for comprehensive policies and procedures. Admitted students are further advised to consult regularly with their academic advisor to develop overall plans of study, create semester schedules, and identify course alternatives where appropriate. |
