The Sports Marketing program is designed for students seeking careers in sports retail marketing, promotion, sports media relations and sports management, among others. Organizations such as the NCAA and the Olympic Governing Board as well as sporting goods manufacturers, corporate sponsors, sports retailers and the broadcast media are just a sample of the available career choices for Sports Marketing graduates. This program provides a working understanding of the role of marketing in sports and sports-related organizations, develops skills in applying fundamental marketing concepts, explores strategic marketing concepts, sales management, product development and marketing research techniques.
