Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam Preparation

This two-day seminar covers the framework of Project Management as well as thef ive Project Management Process Groups, including the inputs, tools, techniques and outputs of the 44 component processes within the nine Knowledge Areas of the PMBOK.

Who Should Attend

Qualified PMP Candidates who satisfy PMI’s education and experience requirements, including:

  • Holding a baccalaureate or equivalent university degree and possessing a minimum of 4,500 hours of leading/directing project tasks and 36 months of project management experience.
  • Holding a high school diploma or equivalent secondary school credentials and possessing a minimum of 7,500 hours of leading/directing project tasks and 60 months of project management experience.

Seminar Outline

  • A comprehensive understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOKâ), PMI’s sanctioned standards and basis for the PMP Certification Examination.
  • A more focused understanding of PMBOK information which PMP candidates must know to pass the exam.
  • Practical tips and techniques for preparing for as well as taking the PMP Certification Exam.
  • An opportunity to take a practice exam, including typical PMP Certification Exam questions.
  • A paperback copy of the current PMBOK Guide.
  • 15 of the 35 hours of formal project management education required for taking the PMP Certification Exam.
