Welcome

Angela Hart-Arrington
Director, Center for Corporate & Executive Education

I would like to share some exciting news about changes at CCEE.

In an effort to provide a more targeted approach to supporting the needs of the business community, the Palumbo • Donahue School of Business will concentrate all of its business outreach efforts under a singular banner—The Beard Institute. This new entity, named for its benefactor, Eugene P. Beard, will focus on the following areas critical to business:  ethics, finance and sustainability.

Select programs from CCEE will transition to The Beard Institute.  Duquesne University will continue its signature efforts such as The Women's Executive Leadership Program. In addition, The Beard Institute will host educational seminars, symposiums and luncheons for the business community that will focus on ethics, finance and sustainability.

CCEE’s project management programs will now be offered directly through our long-term partner Provil & Associates, Inc.

I look forward to continuing the positive impact our outreach efforts have had on the business community—through The Beard Institute—and I hope that you will as well. There will be more information about The Beard Institute in the coming months.
