This policy, drafted by the A. J. School of
Business Administration and John F. Donahue Graduate
School of Business, pertains to the reservation
of all audio-visual machines, such as, but not
limited to, multimedia machines, microphones,
overhead projectors, camcorders, slide projectors,
VCRs and the like. The provisions stipulated
below must be strictly adhered to by all instructors
reserving and using any audio-visual equipment
belonging to the School of Business.
The School of Business instructors have first
selection of any audio-visual equipment for
their classes. Instructors from other departments
can then reserve audio-visual equipment for
their classes on a first-come, first-serve
basis.
A reservation form is to be filled out stating
what equipment is to be used, the dates of
use and the room number of the class to be
held in Rockwell Hall. Under no circumstances
is any audio-visual equipment to be taken
from the premises of Rockwell Hall.
The instructor who reserved the audio-visual
equipment is to personally pick up the equipment
before class and return the audio-visual
equipment after class to the faculty secretary
offices. Under no circumstances will a
student be permitted to transport any audio-visual
equipment to and from class for an instructor.
Upon picking up the audio-visual
equipment for class, the instructor will
personally sign the reservation form. By
the signing of request form or checking the "Guidelines" box
on the online form, the instructor agrees
to incur responsibility for any damages done
to the equipment while in his or her possession
and agrees to immediate reimbursement to
the School of Business for said damages,
including repair or replacement, where applicable.
